CHAPTER 12

DJ walked in to her office with a smile. Lloyd hadn’t arrived yet. She took out the diary and looked at the entries. DJ had already sorted Lloyd out for the day. Gwen strolled in with Lloyd. DJ smiled at the two of them. Lloyd headed into his office. Gwen walked over to DJ. She smiled a huge smile.

“I’ll show you mine if you show me yours.” DJ chuckled and looked at Gwen. She walked behind DJ’s desk and lifted her skirt up to show her the thigh highs. DJ chuckled.

She stood and lifted her long skirt and showed Gwen the top of her thigh highs. They both chuckled in unison. Lloyd walked through from his office and rolled his eyes.

“Gwen, you’re influencing the innocent.” Gwen chuckled. DJ smiled. Lloyd headed back in to his office. Gwen chuckled again.

“He really likes these.” DJ nodded.

“Good.” Gwen smiled.

“You’ve converted me for good.” DJ chuckled.

“As long as you are wearing Chantilly Lace.” Gwen chuckled.

“Not yet.” DJ chuckled.

“Get some.” Gwen nodded as she left.

DJ smiled as she got busy. Lloyd had a busy day in and out of meetings. DJ looked up at her e-Mails. She smiled as she saw an e-Mail from Leo. She opened it up.

“You free tonight?” DJ smiled. She sent a response.

“What did you have in mind?” She waited for a return mail. She read the mail.

“You.” DJ chuckled. She sent a mail.

“Where?” She chuckled as she waited for his response.

“My place?” DJ smiled and nodded.

“Pick me up?” She smiled as she read.

“Seven.” DJ chuckled. She responded.

“Seven.”

Leo left his office at lunch time. He walked over to the mall. He stood and looked through the window at a jewelry store. He hadn’t a clue as to what DJ would like. He walked up and down looking through the window.

Taylor spotted him looking at the rings. He walked over to Leo. He rubbed his chin and chuckled as he spoke.

“So which one, do you think?” Leo looked up at Taylor. He chuckled.

“I honestly don’t know.” Gwen walked past and spotted Leo and Taylor looking at the rings. She walked up to them. She chuckled.

“Who is shopping?” Leo chuckled. Gwen looked up at Leo. She put her arm under both Taylor and Leo’s arms and walked inside. They both shook their heads. A sales assistant walked up to them. She smiled as she looked at them.

Gwen looked at her.

“Engagement rings?” She raised her eyebrow at Leo. Leo nodded. The sales assistant brought out a few trays of rings from the display window and put them on the counter. Gwen and Taylor looked at Leo.

“What are we looking for?” Leo smiled.

“I don’t have a clue.” The three of them looked at the rings.

“Cheap or expensive?” Leo chuckled.

“Expensive.”

The sales assistant took away two trays and replaced them with another two, smiling. Gwen looked at the rings. Leo picked one up. He put it on to his little finger.

“Right size too. This is the one.” Gwen chuckled and shook her head. It was a beautiful ring.
